Minute with Meltdown

Matt Melton

Matt spends his days as an attorney with the Missouri State Public Defender’s St. Louis City office.  In between jury trials and court appearances he is a proud fan of his hometown Cardinals, Rams, Blues & Billikens, and spends way too much time managing way too many fantasy teams.  An avid newspaper reader, Matt’s day begins with editorials and ends with the sports pages (always saving the best for last), and in his next life, he hopes to road trip across the country to see games in every stadium.  His best sports moment is witnessing Jim Edmonds’ no-doubter of a home run in extra innings of Game 6 in the 2004 NLCS against Houston that literally shook the concourses at Busch Stadium.

“Minute with Meltdown” is a weekly rant by Matt on the things about sports that irk him the most.
